What can you do to help us?

Well, as a sleep consultant I can help you and your baby get back your well-deserved sleep. If you are having a hard time getting your child to sleep through the night or taking good long naps, then chances are, you are tired! And when you’re tired, it’s hard to figure out a plan and to stick to it. There are so many websites, sleep training books and articles out there, but for an overwhelmed and sleep-deprived parent, a private consultation with a sleep consultant will be invaluable. A sleep consultant is an experienced, objective, yet compassionate person whom you can turn to, to answer questions and seek advice. They will help you see the bigger picture, figure out a solution that works for you and support you through the process.

What is your sleep philosophy?

We believe in helping our families in the way that suits them the best. We only offer solutions that you feel most comfortable with. We believe in being realistic and honest - sleep training takes time, hard work and doesn’t happen overnight. We want you to come out feeling confident and ready to tackle any sleep challenges you might be having.

Does your method involve Crying It Out?

CIO is a term that means different things to different people. We want you to understand the difference between strategies we recommend and the idea of letting a baby “cry it out”. Letting a baby “cry it out” implies that you have done nothing to prepare your child for sleep training and you are just going to put your baby into his cot, close the door and walk away! That is in our opinion, totally unfair to your child and we certainly would not recommend such treatment. Our sleep program will prepare your child before hand and there are gentler methods which we will recommend but none of it can guarantee no crying at all as your child’s form of communication whether they are hungry, frustrated, angry, unhappy or annoyed is by way of crying. When we begin to change the way a child has fallen asleep for several months, they usually show some protest. Since a baby can not speak, they cry when they don’t like something. Factors such as the age, personality and temperament of your child will affect the amount of crying.

I’m ready to get some sleep! How does this work?

Choose the package that suits your level of need. Email us at [email protected] and you will then receive a sleep assessment form that provides you the opportunity to explain your child’s daily routine and sleep issues. Once you send the completed form back, we will analyse it to better understand your sleep issues. We will then schedule our private consultation session either at your home or through phone call.

Which consultation should I get?

This will depend on a few factors such as the age of your child, how much daily support you would like and whether you prefer home consultation or over the phone.

Newborn Sleep Package: Best suited for babies under 10 weeks of age.
Infant Sleep Package: Suitable for children 3 months or older.
Toddler Sleep Package: Suitable for children 1 year to 6 years of age.
Telephone Daytime Teach Me Package: The preferred consultation for parents who do not have the time to meet up and would be able to implement a sleep plan without in-person guidance.
Express Sleep Package: This is for parents who would like quick advice over the phone and have just a few questions.
Mothers Playgroup Package: Suitable for mothers who want to get together to talk about their sleep issues and would like to learn how to foster healthy sleep habits for their children.
